Abstract Dream Pretty Cure!(or アブストラクトドリームプリキュア!) focuses on the friendship of a group of girls as they try to protect their worlds from a looming Eldritch being known as Osore(恐れ) and his chaotic creations. It is the sequel to Perceptive Memory Pretty Cure! despite seemingly being a standalone series. Much like it's predecessor, the series starts off light hearted and cutesy, but quickly becoming dark in the Second Season.

Synopsis

Eight teens are brought together as an inter-dimensional force brings chaos and destruction upon their world. As they are elected by an otherworldly queen as the protectors of both their human world and the bubbled dimension that lies beyond.

Main Characters

Chīsana Bīto/Chesley Barrens

Chīsana Bīto, or Chesley Barrens as she's known as in the English dub, is a laidback teen who is slow to anger and even slower at holding a grudge. At first glance she comes off as lazy, but she always sticks to her schedule, and gets things done before the headline. She makes LOFI-styled music in her room, and is the Vice President of the Music Makers Club. Her alter ego is the dream of calming beats, Cure Merodī(メロディー). She is voiced by Emi Shinohara, and Cherami Leigh in the hypothetical Japanese and English dubs respectively.

Chishiki Hōfu/Hailey Leighway

Chishiki Hōfu or Hailey Leighway as she's known as in the English dub is an optimistic gal who is always working to improve her grades and become a book writer. Glad to help others, she will be you tutor, shoulder to cry on, and you friend. Her alter ego is the dream of knowledgeable literature, Cure Shōsetsu(小説).

• The series takes place in an alternate universe of the Perceptive Memory series.
